What does “mediating language” stand for?
An effective way to learn a language especially at the beginner, re-enrolled beginner and basic levels is for the language of instruction to be not only in the lesson’s target language , but to utilize a language the participant is already familiar with for grammatical and word explanation and clarification purposes. The language used for these purposes is what we call a “mediating language”.
Our school has extensive experience in teaching with mediating languages. Thus far, students who participated in our international trainings have come from 50 countries.
From the 34 languages taught at our school, we provide individual language learners to study through a mediating language. Furthermore, we also present our small group classes with the option to choose from our comprehensive language scale and study through the mediating language of their choice.
We would like to meet two important demands, by utilizing mediating languages during our language trainings.

We would like to offer foreign language learners living in Budapest, the opportunity to learn a new language during their stay in Budapest, by utilizing a mediation language they are already familiar with.
According to our experience thus far, our international group classroom courses have provided its participants with an excellent opportunity not only to learn a language but also to expand their social relations in Hungary.
2.
During our online courses, where we mainly use English and German as a mediating language, we provide an opportunity for anyone interested around the world to learn a language in one of our multicultural groups.
Besides successful language learning, participants in our international online language courses have the opportunity to create friendships across borders and in some cases, expand their international professional relationships.
