Let’s go to Norway!
Try to find your balance 948 meters high atop the Kjeragbolten cliff, overlooking a fjord, when you visit the Kjerag Mountains 🏔 in Rogaland County, Norway.
The experience is unparalleled and easily accessible even without advanced hiking gear, which is why it’s such a popular tourist attraction. Of course, for those who are able, base jumping off the cliffs is also an option!
Not far from here, just a little further north is the Lærdal Tunnel, one of the longest road tunnels in the world. Its 24.5 km distance, carved into the mountain range, can be cleared in 20 minutes by car, under illuminated cave walls.
The county has plenty of other curiosities, among which is Europe’s deepest freshwater lake . With a depth of 514 meters, the crystal clear water of Hornindalsvatn awaits all swimmers.
