During our travels around the world we have seen many gorgeous landmarks and got reassured that there are many wonderful places in the world that cannot be forgotten! So many different cultures and languages collide that it is truly worth exploring all that you can! A saying comes to mind: the more languages you know, the more personalities you have. Languages are bridges between one another, no matter how far we are in the world or in terms of culture.

Due to its symbolic meaning, we have collected several noteworthy bridges from various continents. 🌉Take a look at these magnificent and grandiose bridges and daydream about taking a walk on them. 😊

Brooklyn Bridge, United States
This bridge connecting Manhattan with Brooklyn has been standing since 1883 as one of New York’s most iconic bridges. Taking a walk or cycling across the bridge is a must!

Si-o-se Pol, Iran
Featuring 33 arches, this bridge is a masterwork of the Safavid architecture with a length of 295 meters. Commissioned by I. Shah Abbas in 1602, it was built with the use of bricks and stones.

Chengyang Bridge, China
Found in the Dong region in China, this bridge has been standing since 1916. Otherwise known as the Wind and Rain Bridge, it arches over the Linxi-river. The bridge was built with the use of wood and stone without the use of rivets or screws.

Sydney Harbour Bridge, Australia
Sydney Harbour Bridge is the largest bridge in the world with an arch-based design. It stands at 134 meters high above the harbour.

Victoria Falls Bridge, Zambia/Zimbabwe
Located over a deep fall besides the Victoria Falls, this bridge connects two cities between Zambia and Zimbabwe. Water splashes all the way up from the falls to the bridge.

Øresund Bridge
This is the longest traffic/railway bridge in Europe with its 8 kilometers of length that connects Denmark and Sweden.
