We would like to introduce one of the most famous flower festivals in the world, the so-called “Bloemencorso Bollenstreek” from Amsterdam.
The annually organized parade is being celebrated for the 77th time this year on 20 April. Last year, more than a million people were present to see the huge, flowing flower sculptures, traveling down the 42 km route from Noordwijk to Haarlem, accompanied by cheerful music from the marching bands. The flower sculptures are designed by the theme of the given year, and they are built with the help of volunteers.
